Equity actors for various roles in the 2021-2022 season (see breakdown).

Performers of all cultural, racial, and gender identities, and of all abilities are encouraged to attend. Please visit our website to learn more about our theater’s ongoing work to promote anti-racism on and off our stage.

Understudies may be used.

Submit a link to an unlisted YouTube video of your prepared monologues along with electronic copies of your headshot and resume at https://pct.formstack.com/forms/pptepa by Friday July 9, 2021 at 5:00 PM EDT. If you have any trouble with the online audition form, please let us know at playtime@ppt.org.

BREAKDOWN

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Please prepare one comedic piece and one piece from the classic American canon (i.e. August Wilson, Alice Childress, Lillian Hellman, Tennessee Williams, etc.). NOTE: All material should not exceed 4 minutes total. Instructions for creating an unlisted YouTube video can be found at https://drive.google.com/file/d/19rAYavix102sxvLSfT01HfvB1emG6E4X/view. In the video, please slate yourself with your full name and the play titles of the pieces you’re presenting.

SLOW FOOD will be rehearsed and performed in-person and indoors at a found location. It will be performed without a live audience and be recorded for streaming at a later date.
