BREAKDOWN
Seymour Krelborn (CAST): The insecure, exhausted, and naive florist's clerk. He is an orphan and an awkward hero with a good heart who transforms from a meek underdog into a morally conflicted accomplice.
Audrey (CAST): The sweet, bleached-blond co-worker with a low self-image and a tackier fashion sense. She is the secret love of Seymour's life.
Audrey II (CAST): The foul-mouthed, anthropomorphic flytrap and avocado-like plant from outer space. Requires an imposing, rhythm-and-blues vocal styling and distinct puppetry manipulation.
Crystal, Ronnette, and Chiffon (CAST -
SEEKING
UNDERSTUDIES): A trio of street urchins. They function as both narrators/observers of the Skid Row action and a doo-wop Greek chorus.Mr. Mushnik: The cranky, failing flower shop owner who is Seymour's boss. He seldom smiles and is quick to scold.
Orin Scrivello: Audrey's handsome, and sadistic dentist boyfriend. He wears a leather jacket and relishes in inflicting pain.
