Sergei Pavlovich Diaghilev “Seryozha”
Male, 40s-50s. A Russian impresario. A large, impressive, powerful man of mid-years.

Dunya (Nyanya)
Female, 60s. Sergei’s old and faithful nurse. She is almost always knitting, but ready to be of service to Sergei the moment the need arises. She has been his nanny since he was born.

Dmitry “Dima” Filosofov
Male, late 40s to 50s. Sergei’s first cousin, as well as his oldest and best friend.

Vaslav Nijinsky, “Vatsa”
Male, 20s. An incredible, expressive classical dancer.

Leonide Massine—Male, 20s. A classical dancer

Misia Sert
Female, 40s-50s. A woman of society—a terrific, witty, forceful woman of her time.
