BREAKDOWN
[Max] 25-35. He is the Cleveland Opera's gopher and Saunders' assistant. In love with Maggie, he aspires to be a singer. Must sing.
[Saunders] ROLE ON OFFER. 50-60. The manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera and father to Maggie. A ruthless producer.
[Maggie] ROLE IS CAST. 25-35. She is Saunders' daughter, sort-of interested in Max, but obsessed with Tito.
[Tito] ROLE ON OFFER. 40-50. Italian Opera star who is travelling a great deal doing one nighters. A ladies man. He is in Cleveland to sing the part of Otello for the Cleveland Opera gala. Must sing.
[Maria] ROLE ON OFFER. 40-50. Tito's wife. She is a hot-blooded Italian who loves Tito and is upset by his womanizing and is extremely jealous. She travels with him.
[Bellhop] 25-40. Works at the hotel and is an obsessed opera fan. He is a huge fan of Tito and wants to meet him. Speaks Italian.
[Diana] 35-45. Soprano with the Cleveland Opera, she is sexy and ambitious.
[Julia] 55-65. She is the chairwoman of the Cleveland Grand Opera. A little batty, she is willing to offer herself to Tito.
