Black, African, or African-American. Mid Sixties. A Matriarch: punishing but also deeply loving. Fierce, Bold, Stubborn, Domineering, Dramatic, Excitable, Outspoken.

[ANNE]
Black, African, or African-American. Late sixties. Strict, domineering, effusive, devoted, passionate, sharp, resentful, spirited.

[DONALD]
Black, African or African-American. Mid Sixties. Loving, quiet, agreeable, careful, indefatigable, persistent, joyous, sturdy, gentle.

DIALECT NOTE: All actors auditioning will need to attempt the Zimbabwean dialect.
