BREAKDOWN

COUNT DRACULA: (early 30’s – 40’s) Disguised as a distinguished, continental gentleman who on surface is polite, formal and a dashing romantic. In truth he is not a tragic romantic hero but a dark, dangerous predator. Must have strong physical/fight skills. This role is NOT understudied.

LUCY WESTPHAL: (late 20’s – early 30’s) She transforms from an innocent Victorian woman to a demonic force imprisoned by Dracula, and finally, to a formidable Vampire hunter. Must be physically strong and agile and portray the full range from sweet innocence to wildly animalistic. Must have strong physical/fight skills. This role is understudied.

JONATHAN HARKER: (late 20’s – early 30’s) Lucy’s fiancé and Dracula’s solicitor, pragmatic and experienced in the world. He senses the evil that has come to Lucy and will do anything to save her. Straight-forward, intelligent, grounded, honest, good energy. Must have strong physical/fight skills. This role is understudied.

DR. THOMAS SEWARD: (early – mid 30’s) A medical Doctor who runs a psychiatric hospital. An intelligent young Englishman, grieving his late fiancé. A deeply caring, vulnerable human being. Brave and serious, a compassionate healer. Must have strong physical/fight skills. This role is understudied.
