BREAKDOWN

All roles not listed have been cast. Auditions for juvenile roles were held on 4/15/18.

LILY ST. REGIS – Rooster’s girlfriend. An egotistical gold digger. She and Rooster pose as Annie’s “parents” so they can fool Warbucks and collect the $50,000 reward.

STAR TO BE – Female, an upcoming Broadway star who sings “N.Y.C.”

BERT HEALEY – Radio announcer who agrees to broadcast Annie’s search for her parents.

FDR – President of the U.S.A., he aids Warbucks in the search for Annie’s parents. Upon meeting Annie, he is inspired to make a new deal, and restore America’s economy.

MALE DANCERS - 2 Men, 20s – 30s, all ethnicities. Strong dancer/singers.

FEMALE DANCERS – 2 Women, 20s – 30s, all ethnicities. Strong dancer/singers.

MALE ENSEMBLE – 5 Men, 20s – 60s, all ethnicities, all types – strong actor/singers who move well, to play a variety of roles:

#1: Plays Bundles - the laundry man that Hannigan keeps hitting on; Hull - one of FDR’s cabinet members; Eddie - one of the homeless of Hooverville.

#2: Plays Drake - the butler at the Warbucks mansion; Fred McCracken - a ventriloquist working with a dummy, who guests on Bert Healey’s show.

#3: Plays Dog Catcher - who goes after Sandy; Ickes – one of FDR’s cabinet members; a Judge – called upon to assist in Annie’s adoption.

#4: Plays Lt. Ward – a policeman sent to find Annie; Lt. Johnson – a different policeman; Morganthau – one of FDR’s cabinet.

#5: Plays Asst. Dogcatcher

FEMALE ENSEMBLE – 5 Women, 20s – 60s, all ethnicities, all types – strong actor/singers who move well, to play a variety of roles:

#1: Plays Cecile – one of the servants at the Warbucks mansion; Ronnie Boylan – one of the Boylan sisters, who sing on the Bert Healey show.

#2: Plays Connie Boylan – one of the Boylan sisters who sing on the Bert Healey show; Sophie the Kettle – one of the homeless of Hooverville.

#3: Plays Mrs. Pugh – one of the servants at the Warbucks mansion.

#4: Plays Bonnie Boylan – one of the Boylan sisters who sing on the Bert Healey show; Annette – one of the servants at the Warbucks mansion.

#5: Plays Apple Seller – one of the homeless of Hooverville; Mrs. Greer – one of the servants at the Warbucks mansion; Perkins – one of FDR’s cabinet.
