SYNOPSIS: Our musical story, accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer organ, explores how Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy British businessman in 19th century Londontown, overlooks the marginalized & impoverished characters in the community—especially his employee, Bob Cratchit. Through the visits of Scrooge’s deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet to Come, our protagonist recognizes the ways his obsessive “pursuit of wealth” not only harms those who love(d) him, but that this path has potentially fatal consequences for some of the neediest and some of the youngest he has long ignored. Ebenezer Scrooge transforms into a compassionate, charitable, good human.

Note: Youth performers who are members of the Actors’ Equity Association may audition for any roles at this time, but it's likely that the following roles will be cast at a later date: Ghost of Christmas Past, Turkey Boy, Young Scrooge, Fan, Peter Cratchit, Martha Cratchit, Belinda Cratchit, and Tiny Tim. Some roles will be doubled. Some roles may be understudied.
