Led by Mariló Núñez, this decentralized playwriting workshop employs Maria Irene Fornes' anti-Aristotelian approach to dramatic writing, in which participants begin with a blank slate and no preconceptions about what the play will be. Through centering movement, visualization, drawing, found objects and words, sense memory, and collective writing, participants explore unique ways of developing characters and stories for the stage. The workshop is sponsored by Theatre Alberta as part of Workshops by Request: Hometown Series.
