Mimosa features a talented Vancouver quintet known for its unique blend of jazz, Brazilian sambas, French chanson, and cabaret music. The ensemble includes Rebecca Shoichet on vocals, Anna Lumiere on piano and accordion, Karen Graves on sax, flute, and vocals, Conrad Good on bass, and Bernie Arai on drums. This bilingual (French/English) group captivates audiences with gorgeous melodies, quirky lyrics, incredible grooves, and impressive improvisations. The performance is set to take place at the Yardbird Suite on September 28, 2024, as part of their exciting new season.
