Countryside Community Theatre continues their season with Disney's Newsies: A Musical based on the Disney film with performance dates of July 30, 31 at 7 PM August 1st at 2 pm and July 6,7 at 7 pm July 8 at 2 pm. Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies." When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right!
