DM Playhouse Adds Performances of Disney's ALICE IN WONDERLAND JR., 11/23-12/1

The Des Moines Community Playhouse has added three performances of "Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr." at 4:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 23; 4:00 PM, Saturday Nov. 30; and 4:00 PM, Sunday, Dec. 1. Tickets for these and the originally scheduled performances, through Dec. 1, can be purchased at dmplayhouse.com, at The Playhouse box office, and by phone at 515-277-6261.

When Alice Chases a White Rabbit with a pocket watch, she suddenly finds herself in a madcap adventure in Wonderland. She gets a lesson in manners from the Tweedles, finds herself a guest at the Mad Hatter's tea party, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game. Based on the popular film, "Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr." features such classic Disney songs such as "I'm Late" and "The Un-birthday Song."

The Playhouse is Iowa's oldest and largest producing theatre. Located at the 42nd Street exit of I-235, the theatre has presented a full season of shows since 1919 and also offers a wide variety of educational experiences including classes for ages 4 to adult, theatre trips to New York, and volunteer opportunities onstage and backstage.
