Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific, the finale of Paramount Theatre's 2025-26 Broadway Series, runs April 29 through June 14, 2026. Set in a World War II tropical paradise, the story follows U.S. Navy nurse Nellie Forbush (Allsun O'Malley) and Lt. Joseph Cable (Anthony Maggio) as they each fall in love on foreign soil, while grappling with questions of cultural difference and acceptance. Devin Archer stars as Emile De Becque, with Cindy Chang as Bloody Mary and Louisa Darr as Liat. The production features a cast of 36, a 15-piece live orchestra, and a tropical scenic design built from half a mile of bamboo, co-directed by Trent Stork and Devon Hayakawa.
