STEP ON ME: Stacy & Her Scale, A Cautionary Tale at Denver Fringe Festival

STEP ON ME: Stacy & Her Scale, A Cautionary Tale is a world premiere production from Cypherbird Projects, based on a short play by Lisa Wagner Erickson that the Boston Globe described as "a hilarious play that toys with one woman's obsession with her bathroom scale." The show follows aspiring influencer Stacy as she attempts to control a twisted relationship with her bathroom scale, only to find that Scale has other plans, sending their S&M-ish dynamic into a fever dream of physical comedy, original songs, and drag-inspired movement. Directed by Em Perez, the production stars Veronica Straight-Lingo and John-Christian Maheu, who previously won the Best Cast award performing the short version at Meow Wolf.
