Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical exploded onto the scene in the late 1960s, becoming a cultural phenomenon that both shocked and captivated audiences. A loose-knit "tribe" of long-haired young people living in New York City took center stage, their lives filled with music, love, and a fierce opposition to the Vietnam War. The show's groundbreaking rock score, featuring iconic songs like "Aquarius" and "Let the Sunshine In," became anthems for a generation yearning for social change.

Student Blog: Wardrobe! Lots of Wardrobe! Life is Wardrobe! Love is Wardrobe!

This March the University of Colorado Boulder staged a production of Stephen Sondheim's Company in the Charlotte York Irey Theatre in the University Theatre building. For this production I was asked to be Wardrobe Head. I was put in charge of a little crew of three other kickass wardrobe technicians and we were in charge of all things costumes.
