The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) presents HEARTBREAK HOUSE by George Bernard Shaw, playing The Space Theatre March 30 – April 29. Tickets may be purchased now, by calling 303.893.4100 or visiting www.denvercenter.org

At an English country house on the brink of World War I, a vibrant assembly of the pampered, privileged and powerful enjoy frivolous pursuits as disaster draws near. Shaw mixes comedy and drama to blend up a concoction that satisfies the heart as well as the head. 

The cast of HEARTBREAK HOUSE includes DCTC favorites Kathleen M. Brady (26 Seasons, To Kill a Mockingbird, Superior Donuts)as Nurse Guinness, Philip Pleasants (The Taming of the Shrew, To Kill a Mockingbird) as Captain Shotover, Kathleen McCall (The Taming of the Shrew, Othello) as Lady Utterword, RAndy Moore (The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream) as Mazzini Dunn, Robert Sicular (The Taming of the ShrewThe Liar) as Boss Mangan and Sam Gregory (World Premiere Two Things You Don't Talk About At Dinner, American Night: The Ballad of Juan José) as Randall Utterword. Debuting at the DCTC are Sarah Nealis as Ellie Dunn, Lise Bruneau as Hesione Hushabye and J. Paul Boehmer at Hector Hushabye.  Returning to DCTC to claim the role of William "Billy" Dunn is Brad Bellamy (Picasso at the Lapin AgileMama Hated Diesels).

HEARTBREAK HOUSE is directed by DCTC Associate Director and Director of New Play Development Bruce K. Sevy. Set design is by Vicki Smith (24 Seasons, A Christmas CarolThe Adventures of Tom Sawyer) while costume design is by Bill Black (A Midsummer Night's Dream, Othello).  Lighting design is by Don Darnutzer (To Kill a Mockingbird, A Midsummer Night's Dream), sound design is by Jason Ducat (World Premiere Two Things You Don't Talk About At Dinner, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), and musical composition is by Gregg Coffin (The Taming of the Shrew, The Liar). Dramaturgy is by Doug Langworthy (World Premiere Great Wall Story, World Premiere Two Things You Don't Talk About At Dinner) while dialect and vocal coaching is by Kathryn G. Maes, Ph. D (The Taming of the Shrew, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer).
