Following the huge success of its comedy fundraiser in 2008 with Chelsea Handler and Heather McDonald at the Paramount Theatre, New Genesis is back again with an event featuring THREE of the top comedians from Chelsea's Roundtable: Heather McDonald, Jen Kirkman and Brad Wollack for a night of hilarity to end homelessness. One night only - Saturday, October 10th at 8pm at the Paramount Theatre.

In addition to being a regular on the Chelsea Lately Roundtable, Heather McDonald has starred and was a writer on the hit MTV sketch show Lyricist Lounge. She was a contributing writer on White Chicks with the Wayans brothers and had a featured role. She has guest starred on Frasier, Malcom in the Middle, Reno 911, Watching Ellie, and Three and Drake and Josh. She is also one of the writers for US Weekly's Fashion Police.

Jen Kirkman is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer who got her start in Boston and New York City. She is currently a writer on E!'s Chelsea Lately and her television credits include VH-1's Sketch Show, Acceptable TV, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Most recently, she was featured in Entertainment Weekly's "Top 12 Comedians To Watch."

In addition to his work on Chelsea Lately, Brad Wollack is also a stand-up comedian who's played throughout the county. His alter-ego, Woody Wittman, is the clueless host of "The Hollywoody Show" on Comedy.com. "Woody" appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, hosted at HBO's The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, and has amassed upwards of 3.5 million views as a regular feature on YouTube.

Tickets for Comedy Uncork'd are $40, $75 and $500 each and are on sale now at TicketHorse.com or by calling (866) 461-6556. Kirkman & Wollack will open the show at 8pm, with McDonald at 9pm. The show is 21 and over.

Founded in 1986, New Genesis is the only Denver homeless program for working people. Designed out of a need to more successfully improve the lives of the homeless, New Genesis provides a stable environment, helping people get off the streets and back into society. Residents are required to be substance free and to hold a full-time job. New Genesis is a community of recovery that recognizes homelessness as a temporary situation, not a personal weakness. New Genesis promotes an optimistic and enthusiastic environment, and guides its residents towards realization of their emotional and practical goals. More information on the organization can be found online at www.panhandlingsucks.com.
