The DuPont Theatre, Delaware's Broadway Experience, is has announced its Centennial Season, a mix of classics and new shows. The DuPont Theatre's 100th Season delivers Wilmington audiences a sampling of Broadway with musicals and entertainment.

Kicking off this Broadway Series line-up is ELVIS LIVES, October 2-7, 2012, a journey across the career of the one and only Elvis Presley. The show featues finalists from Elvis Presley Enterprises' worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, as well as a tribute to Ann-Margret.

Next up is a production of Roundabout Theatre Company's ANYTHING GOES, October 30-November 4, 2012, winner of three 2011 Tony® Awards including Best Musical Revival and Choreography! Peppering this Cole Porter comedy are some musical theater standards, including "I Get a Kick out of You," "You're the Top," and of course, "Anything Goes." Don't miss what the AP exclaims as, "So DELIGHTFUL, So DELICIOUS, So DE-LOVELY!"

Coming in December, it's story of the Shrek the orgre in SHREK THE MUSICAL, December 4-9, 2012. Based on the Oscar®-winning DreamWorks film that started it all, this part romance, part twisted fairy tale features a score of 19 all-new songs. The musical brings to life a handsome prince, a feisty princess, a donkey who won't shut up, a villain with a short temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits.

In January, its FLASHDANCE, January 29-February 3, 2013, the pop-culture phenomenon and runaway international success, now live on stage! Starting with a dream to be bigger, burn brighter and to dance harder---this new musical features a score including, the Academy Award-winning title track "Flashdance - What a Feeling," "Maniac," "I Love Rock & Roll," and 16 new, original songs. 

In April, its DREAMGIRLS direct from Apollo Theater Productions in New York City, April 2-7, 2013. This new stage production tells the story of an up-and-coming, 1960s singing girl group-- complete with all the triumphs and tribulations that come with fame and fortune. 

To round out the Anniversary Season, MEMPHIS will be playing April 30-May 5, 2013. From the underground dance clubs of 1950s Memphis, Tennessee, comes a new Broadway musical with a tale of fame and forbidden love. Inspired by actual events, MEMPHIS embarks on an incredible journey to the ends of the airwaves with a white radio DJ who wants to change the world and a black club singer who is ready for her big break. MEMPHIS is the winner of four 2010 Tony Awards® including Best Musical.

In February, star Mitzi Gaynor plays on-stage with RAZZLE DAZZLE! MY LIFE BEHIND THE SEQUINS, February 15-17, 2013. This love letter to a great era of show business is a theatrical memoir. Mitzi shares stories and songs from her life and career, along with video footage culled from her television, concert and film work.

In March, take a journey through the most popular movie musicals of the last 50 years. Featuring a cast of 14 singers and dancers, a 6 piece band live on stage, and over 300 costume changes, enjoy film clips of your favorite movies from SINGING IN THE RAIN and THE GLEN MILLER STORY ----to GREASE, DIRTY DANCING, and TITANIC. HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD, March 8-10, 2013, sings and dances its way through over 30 songs including Staying Alive, All that Jazz, Dancing Queen, Jailhouse Rock, and many more! Watch as lights, camera, action unfolds live on stage.
