There is a legend that once every hundred years in the Scottish highlands the village of Brigadoon awakens and its awakening enthralls with its mystery, delightful characters, and a love story that transcends time. Directed by Bob Kelly, Candlelight's Brigadoon features Andy Boettcher and Jared Calhoun as adventurers Tommy Albright and Jeff Douglas who find themselves lost in the highlands when Brigadoon comes to life. Sophie Jones plays Fiona MacLaren who is at once smitten with Tommy, Analisa Wall is the feisty Meg Brockie who sets her eye on Jeff Douglas.

Anthony Connell is Charlie Dalrymple about to marry his "Bonnie Jean" (MacLaren) played by Hallie Hargus. Harry Beaton is Michael J. DeFlorio; Harry's father, Archie, is Tim Moudy; Maggie Anderson is Dierdre Treacy, Andrew MacLaren is Tom Orr, and Mr. Lundy is Barry Gomolka. Rounding out the cast are Alexander Albanese, Marissa Broujious, Marusia Griffin (Sandy), Cody Palmer, Max Redman (Frank, the NY bartender), Jacob Schrimpf, Natalie Schaffer (Jane Ashton, Tommy's fiancee), Caleb J. Tracy, Jenny Torgerson, and Shaun Yates (Angus MacGuffie) as the townsfolk of Brigadoon.

The artistic staff is composed of Betsy Conner as Vocal Musical Director, Jody Anderson - Choreographer, Tara Bowers - Costumer, Jeff Reim - Set Design, and Matthew Kator - Lighting Designer.

Premiering on Broadway in 1947, Brigadoon was immortalized on film in 1954 starring Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse. With book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe (My Fair Lady, Camelot), Brigadoon enchants with a beautiful score featuring classics such as "The Heather on the Hill" and "Almost Like Being in Love."

Brigadoon runs Saturday, September 15 through Sunday, October 28. Performances are Friday and Saturday evening (doors open at 6:00 pm) and Sunday afternoon (doors open at 1:00 pm, show at 3:00 pm). There is a Thursday evening performance October 25 (doors open at 6:00 pm, show at 8:00 pm) and two Wednesday matinees, September 19 and October 17 (doors open at 11:00 am, show at 1:00 pm). All tickets include dinner and show and are $63 for adults. Group rates are available for groups of 15 or more.
