Victoria Theatre Association to Launch First Online Auction 11/15-12/5

Victoria Theatre Association announces its first-ever online auction slated to kick off November 15 and run up until December 5, 2010.

This year, Victoria Theatre Association will be presenting something that has not been done by an arts group in Dayton-an online auction. The online auction, coined Victoria's Spotlight Specials Online Auction, was organized with the goal of raising money for Victoria Theatre Association's Education and Outreach programs. VTA has collected some amazing gifts and collectibles for the online auction block.

Visit www.victoriatheatre.com and click on the Victoria's Spotlight Specials link for the chance to view some of the auction items in advance of the start of bidding and to become a registered bidder in advance. "We're encouraging everyone to register now so when bidding starts on November 15 they will be ready to start bidding right away," commented Joan Jacobson, Advancement Director for Victoria Theatre Association. The online auction offers a large variety of Broadway collectibles, art, outings and other wonderful items from Miami Valley Businesses. The prices of the packages range from $15 to $4,500 and all purchases will be received before the Christmas holiday for gift giving. "We worked hard to have a wide variety of auction items that appeal to a variety of interests," said Jacobson "Think of it as convenient, one-stop shopping in the comfort of your own home - or office! - that benefits Victoria Theatre Association's extensive education and outreach programs."

The auction ends December 5 - so be sure to check the website daily and bid on your favorite items. All proceeds go to support Victoria Theatre Association's Education and Outreach programs - Physicians for Kids Discovery Series, PNC Family Series, scholarships and workshops for students/teachers and so much more.
