VTA Presents Final Film of Michelob Ultra Films Series - Grease 8/26-28

Victoria Theatre Association and the Heidelberg Distributing Company present the final film of the 2011 Michelob Ultra Cool Films Series, Grease, August 26-28, 2011 at the historic Victoria Theatre. Come dressed in your favorite 1950's outfit and put your best hand forward in the "hand jive" contest!

Grease has left audiences full of "summer lovin'" for decades. With a famous cast featuring John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Stockard Channing, Grease takes audience members on a journey through high school life in the 1950s with all of the drama of young love you can handle. This playful plot, coupled with an unforgettable soundtrack including "Summer Lovin'" and "You're the One that I Want," come together to create a truly spectacular film that is perfect for all ages!

Grease ruled the 1979 People's Choice Awards, taking awards for both Favorite Musical Picture and Favorite Overall Picture. It was nominated for an Oscar® in the category of Best Music in a Film and has become a household name over the past 30 years. 1950s Dress Theme & "Hand- Jive" Contest

Come dressed in your favorite 1950's outfit, slicked back hair or pony tail and add to the evening of fun! Brush up on the hand-jive and participate in the hand-jive contest before the show Friday and Saturday nights!

Films are shown at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays in the air-conditioned comfort of the Victoria Theatre. Recreating the feel of the old-time movie palaces, guests may enjoy free popcorn and soda in the lobby beginning one hour prior to showtime.
