VTA Kicks Off Cool Films Series With Hepburn-Tracy Rom-Com ADAM'S RIB Victoria Theatre Association kicks off the popular 2018-2019 Summer Cool Films Series with the Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy classic, ADAM'S RIB. Show times are July 6-7 at 7 p.m. and July 8 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $6; passbooks of 10 tickets are $39. ADAM'S RIB is a 1949 American film directed by George Cukor from a screenplay written by Ruth Gordon and Garson Kanin. Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn star as married lawyers who come to oppose each other in court. Domestic and professional tensions mount when a husband and wife work as opposing lawyers in a case involving a woman who shot her husband. Not Rated.

Victoria Theatre Association is one of Dayton's premier arts organizations, presenting the Premier Health Broadway Series, the Morris Furniture Company Family Series, the Cool Films Series, Projects Unlimited Star Attractions, National Geographic Live Series, and The Frank M. Tait Foundation Discovery Series, which features curriculum-enhanced live theatre productions for school children. In addition to the performances it presents, Victoria Theatre Association also manages the historic Victoria Theatre, the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, and the Metropolitan Arts Center, which houses The Loft Theatre. Victoria Theatre Association receives funding from a variety of diverse public, corporate, individual and private sources, including the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District and the Ohio Arts Council. The Ohio Arts Council and The National Endowment for the Arts helped fund this program or organization with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
