Playhouse South, A Community Theater announces open auditions for the teenage comedy, And Never Been Kissed. Auditions will be held at the Clark Haines Theater, 3700 Far Hills Avenue at 7:00 pm on March 15 & 16, 2010, with callbacks on March 17. Performances are April 23-25, and April 30-May 1, 2010 (Fr-Su).

Flory Patterson is almost sixteen and never been kissed. Not for lack of trying, as Flory devotes every moment to attracting the opposite sex in this teenage comedy set in 1928, Involved in the proceedings are Flory's best friend, her understanding Mother, her matter-of-fact little sister and the sister's equally matter-of-fact friend, and of course the boys: disdainful Charlie, unattainable Douglas, eager Gilmore, and finally the divine Phillip. It's fast pace, clever dialog and unusual situations are hilarious and you will love acting in this true-to-life flapper comedy.

Auditioners are asked to prepare a one minute comedic monologue. There are several adult roles in this production as well. List of characters can be found on our website, www.playhousesouth.org. If you have any questions, please call the theater at 888-262-3792 or contact the director, Bobby Mitchum at 937-307-2382.
