MUTTS GONE NUTS Up Next in VTA's 2016-17 Family Series

Victoria Theatre Association announces the 2016-2017 Morris Furniture Company Family Series presentation of MUTTS GONE NUTS, on Oct., 29 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at the historic Victoria Theatre.

Tickets are on sale now at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office, located in the Wintergarden of the inside the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center in downtown Dayton, via phone 937-228-3630 or online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

MUTTS GONE NUTS features nine amazing dogs, which have been rescued from animal shelters, that perform a variety of stunts and skits. This unique and hilarious show presents an afternoon of fun composed of dogs that catch Frisbees, walk on tightropes, dance, do magic tricks, and even talk. The show will be hosted by the creators of the performance, Scott and Joan Houghton. MUTTS GONE NUTS is a family friendly show for all ages that will leave you howling for more.

Tickets for MUTTS GONE NUTS are $15 each. Tickets are on sale now through Ticket Center Stage, and may be purchased at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office in downtown Dayton or by phone, at 937-228-3630 or toll free 888-228-3630. Ticket Center Stage hours are Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, noon - 4 p.m., and two hours prior to each performance. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.ticketcenterstage.com.

Hands-On Rolling Workshops are $5 per child!

· Children will participate in a variety of creative activities including animal movement, unique animal personalities, and an animal character creation.

· Workshop times are 2:15 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. between shows.

· Appropriate for ages 5-10.

· Parents may watch for free.

· Morris Family Series workshops are conducted by Victoria Theatre Association teaching artists and are not conducted by cast or crew of MUTTS GONE NUTS.

The interactive Storytime begins at 3:15 p.m.

Victoria Theatre Association is one of Dayton's premier arts organizations, presenting the Premier Health Broadway Series, the Morris Furniture Company Family Series, the Cool Films Series, the Projects Unlimited Star Attractions, National Geographic Live Series, sponsored by Winsupply and the Win Family of Companies, and The Frank M. Tait Foundation Discovery Series, which features curriculum-enhanced Live Theatre productions for school children. In addition to the performances it presents, Victoria Theatre Association also manages the historic Victoria Theatre, the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, and the Metropolitan Arts Center, which houses The Loft Theatre. Victoria Theatre Association receives funding from a variety of diverse public, corporate, individual and private sources, including the Montgomery County Arts and Cultural District and the Ohio Arts Council. The Ohio Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts helped fund this program or organization with tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
