About this studio
Walker's Gymnastics & Dance is a combined gymnastics and dance school at 312 Plain Street in Lowell, Massachusetts, founded by Reginald T. Walker and run by his family for more than four decades. Year-round programs cover Parent & Child classes from walking to age three, preschool, gymnastics, tumbling and cheer, parkour/ninja, and a full dance division taking students from 18 months through to adults. Dance classes include creative dance for ages 2.5-5, ballet at beginner through advanced levels six days a week, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, modern and contemporary, plus ballet fitness and barre classes for teens and adults. The studio produces a themed year-end recital and a one-act Nutcracker at Christmas, and fields the competitive Walker's Dance Troupe alongside USA Gymnastics Xcel and developmental teams. Summer brings mini-camps, open gym, vacation-week workshops and advanced dance intensives.
