About this studio
Soul to Sole Choreography began in 1994 as SonLight Dance under the direction of Mary Margaret Bawden, taking its original name from John 12:35-36. Rather than operating as a conventional dance school with a class timetable, it functions as a Christian dance ministry that provides education and resources supporting dance as worship, described on the site as prayer in motion. Its published resources include the book and DVD Dance is Prayer in Motion, choreography videos, workshops and a statement of faith.
