About this studio
Ascension Dance is a Texas-based dance team event company operating from P.O. Box 1692 in Cypress, Texas, serving high school dance and drill teams rather than running its own classes. It produces a dance team contest circuit in two formats - a Challenge Circuit and a Champion Circuit - which teams can enter singly or together for what it calls the Ultimate Challenge, with published classifications, routine rules and scoring. Alongside contests it runs L.E.A.D. officer camps, A.I.M. manager camps, T.E.A.M. private team camps, Accelerate summer intensives offering six hours of training, and an officer audition workshop. Other programs include Ascension Dance Nationals, Spirit of America Productions and competition travel. It describes itself as mission driven and faith based.
