About this studio
Nacre Dance Group is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit dance organization based at 128 Henry Street in Saratoga Springs, New York, working across New York's Capital Region. Its stated mission is to elevate dance through educational programs, performances and professional opportunities that unite local and visiting dancers and choreographers, under the tagline Building New Traditions in Dance. Alongside its performance seasons, which have included restagings of classic modern repertory, the organization runs workshops and classes, offers choreographic opportunities for emerging and established choreographers, and operates Studio C as a rehearsal and class space. The group is supported by a board of directors and by sponsors and donors rather than by a conventional tuition-based studio model.
