About this studio
Northeast School of Ballet (NSB) is located at 32 Lowell Street in Reading, Massachusetts, and is the official training school of the Northeast Youth Ballet (NYB). School and company together have trained young dancers and presented them to local audiences for 50 years, and are supported in part by the Mass Cultural Council. Classical ballet, including pointe work, is the focus of training, which runs from pre-ballet level through advanced. The summer program is structured as a Pre-Ballet Program, a Young Dancer's Program and an audition-based Summer Intensive, each with published dates, tuition, dress code and sample schedules. Northeast Youth Ballet performs a full season including an autumn series, The Nutcracker in December and a spring full-length such as Cinderella, and also runs a S.T.A.R.S. outreach program and volunteer opportunities.
