Marin Ballet is a non-profit ballet school in San Rafael, California, offering a year-round, standards-based classical ballet education for students from toddlers through adults, with enrollment open all year. Its programs run from Wee Dance Together for ages 18 months to 3 with a parent or caregiver, through Creative Movement for ages 3-4, Ballet Prep for kindergarten and first grade, Levels 1-4 for ages 7-10, Intermediate Ballet for ages 10-13 introducing pointe, and Advanced Ballet for ages 14-18 training multiple days a week. Adult classes include beginning evening classes and morning intermediate/advanced levels. Training combines a ballet and contemporary syllabus with strength, stretch and Pilates work, guest choreographers and a student choreography initiative.
