Mactir Academy of Irish Dance LLC

Mactir Academy of Irish Dance is an Irish step dance school at 3715 Minnehaha Ave, Suite B, Minneapolis, Minnesota, founded and directed by Emily Wolff. The name Mactir means 'wolf' in Irish, and the school community is known as the Wolf Pack. It offers both competitive and performance-based classes with a focus on precision, teamwork and grace, and aims to be a leading team-based competition school in Minnesota. Dancers choose their own path, from attending a couple of feiseanna (competitions) a year, to performing with local and international bands, to competing at the Irish Dance World Championships. The school's stated mission is to spread the tradition of Irish step dancing and to use dance to build confidence, poise and lasting friendships. Coaches are experienced Irish dancers who emphasize encouragement alongside challenge. Prospective students can book a trial class, and the academy also runs camps and performance events.
