Leap Dance Studio

Leap Dance Studio is a Denver, Colorado children's dance school offering classes in ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, jazz/lyrical and creative movement. Teaching focuses on the art and technique of dance, guiding students' imaginations while building classical steps, and the studio encourages dancers to enroll for the full academic year because each lesson builds on the last. Classes are graded by age and level, beginning with Creative Movement for three- and four-year-olds and progressing through Ballet I-V, Advanced Pointe, Tap III-V, Hip Hop I-III and Jazz/Lyrical I-III for teens. A Performance Group for ages 14-18 rehearses on Saturdays, performs several times a year and enters two competitions. Private lessons are available, and the spring session ends with a recital at the Newman Center.
