About this studio
LaRae's Dance Unlimited is a dance studio at Layton Park Plaza on Gentile Street in Layton, Utah, directed by LaRae R. Thackeray. It teaches tap, jazz, ballet and Irish stepdance, with a Pre-Ballet and Tap introductory class for ages 3 to 7, classical ballet and jazz from age 8 through adult, and tap from age 3 through adult covering traditional tap, rhythm tap, theatre and Irish styles. Dancers may progress into a junior tap company or the tap company, and the studio's Irish program runs as the Celtic Beat Irish Dancers. The studio also offers summer classes and holds an annual open house and registration ahead of the season; the 2026-27 season began on August 17, 2026. It was named second choice for dance studios in the Ogden Standard-Examiner's Best of Northern Utah 2026 readers' choice awards.
