Kelly Academy of Irish Dance

The Kelly Academy of Irish Dance (KAID) was established in 2015 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is owned and operated by Caitlin Kelly Rathe, TCRG. The school is registered and governed by An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha (CLRG) and is affiliated with the IDTANA Southern Region; staff are SafeSport trained and follow CLRG child protection and vetting policies. Classes are open to ages 2 and up and cover both traditional and contemporary Irish dance, with solo and ceili (team) training, performance opportunities, and competitive pathways at regional, national and international level. KAID ceili teams have placed in the top five at the Southern Region Oireachtas. Dancers perform at parties, festivals, cultural functions and community events, appearing in more than 30 St Patrick's Day performances across the tri-county area each year. Registration for 2026-2027 is open with classes starting August 3, 2026, and a free trial class is offered. A summer camp also runs.
