Jus Hip Hop is a family-friendly dance studio at 9051 Pembroke Road in Pembroke Pines, Florida, operating since 2009 and run by Maraj Charlton, a New York-trained dancer who began in ballet and later moved into jazz, tap, modern and street dance before relocating to Florida. The studio describes itself as a certified breaking school, teaching breakdancing as a dance sport alongside kids' and teen hip hop, tot hip hop, adult hip hop, ballet, pole fitness, drama and acting, DJ classes and piano lessons, with levels from beginner to advanced and performance teams. Its One Luv Crew performance crew has appeared at venues and city events around the region, and every June the studio stages an annual production written and produced in-house. It also runs hip hop themed children's birthday parties, chair-dance sessions for senior citizens, studio rentals and choreography services, and accepts Step Up scholarships.
