About this studio
Dance Arts Academy has served the Meridian and greater Boise area of Idaho since 1976, teaching ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro and more to students from infancy through adulthood. Classes are organized by age band - 0 to 3, 3 to 5, 6 to 8, 8 to 11, 12 to 18 and adult 18+ - so beginners and experienced dancers train at an appropriate level, with the youngest groups focused on coordination, rhythm and creative movement and older groups on technique, strength and artistry. The academy runs a competitive company and a performance-oriented Dance Club alongside its recreational classes, and offers Darby's Dancers, a program for dancers with special needs. Additional offerings include summer camps, summer classes and summer intensives, birthday parties and an annual recital.
