Crossroads Dance Project

CrossRoads Dance Theater, also styled the School of Classical Dance, trains students of all ages and experience levels at 264 Sunset Park Dr. in Herndon, Virginia, in space sublet from the Reston Community Players. Teaching centers on classical ballet technique and pointe, with contemporary and jazz added at the upper levels; a Children's Program introduces young dancers to correct ballet technique from the start. The school runs a graded structure from Petite Ballet (Level 1) through Level 8, with pre-pointe and pointe from Level 5B upward and a separately priced intermediate-advanced contemporary course on Saturdays for Level 7 and above. Students appear in two major productions a year, including The Nutcracker, plus spring performances comprising a full classical ballet, a school recital covering all styles taught, and a sacred dance concert. The studio follows Fairfax County school closings and offers family discounts.
