About this studio
The Ballet Academy Inc. teaches classical ballet in the Cecchetti method at locations in Arlington, Bedford and Belmont, Massachusetts, for students from age four through adult. The school presents its training as a foundation either for a career in ballet and related fields - modern dance, dance therapy, notation, criticism, administration, teaching and choreography - or simply for personal expression, and emphasises strength, grace, posture and cardiovascular health. Every student, from the youngest to adults, works through the fundamentals of ballet to build control, balance and grace before more rigorous training, with teaching adapted to each student's learning style, and classes stress courtesy and respect toward classmates.
