he season will feature the world premiere of Silver Foxes, a new play by the writing team of “The Golden Girls”, plus the regional premieres of the 2019 Drama Desk nominated musical, Head over Heels and the recent Broadway hit Chicken & Biscuits. Rounding out the 2022-2023 season is the regional premiere of Cruel Intentions: The 90's musical, a co-production with Stage West, and an all-new Broadway Our Way.
Second Thought Theatre has announced their full production of Dry Powder. After a brief, COVID-related slowdown, Dry Powder will serve as the opening production of the 2022 season.
Can the three remaining members soldier on alone for this musical performance of the Dickens classic? You’ll have a blast finding out, as Stage West presents Scrooge in Rouge, an English Music Hall Christmas Carol, by Ricky Graham, with Additional Material by Jeffery Roberson, Other Interesting Bits by Yvette Hargis, and Original Music Composed by Jefferson Turner.
What could it have been like to be the son of a Founding Father, later to become President himself, who interacted with so many of this country’s movers and shakers? Aaron Posner tackles this question with wit and intelligence in his play JQA, which he subtitles “A Series of Fictitious Encounters Between John Quincy Adams & Sundry Family Members & Political Associates on the Subjects of Life, Liberty & The Pursuit of a More Rational Relationship with Government.”
Stage West has announced pieces which will make up the 12th annual Festival of the Kid performances, which will take place virtually again this year.
