The Dallas Opera's annual Kids Opera Boot Camp is a free, 3-hour workshop for children in grades K–6, led by TDO's Education staff and professional opera singers. Students explore music, stage movement, and visual arts, learning the ins and outs of putting on an opera performance. At the end of each session, TDO singers perform the children's opera The Bremen Town Musicians, which celebrates teamwork, friendship, and kindness. The workshop is open to individual children, school groups, and out-of-school time organizations, all of whom must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
