Irish playwright Martin McDonagh combines the satire of Monty Python, the shock and horror of a Quentin Tarantino project, and the fright of Irish terrorism into one and the result is the 2006 Tony Award nominee, The Lieutenant of Inishmore. This gleefully gruesome comedy begins with the "tragic" death of a cat, whose owner, "Mad" Padraic, vows not to rest until every townsperson feels as bad as he does.

For the past nine years, WaterTower Theatre's Out of the Loop Fringe Festival has wowed audiences with an exciting and unmatched artistic lineup featuring acts in theatre, music, dance and art from around the region. Performances take place in the Main Stage, Studio Theatre or Stone Cottage.
