WaterTower Theatre Artistic Director, Joanie Schultz, today announced details for Pride and Prejudice Intersections programming.

- October 22nd - REGENCY DAY - Dress Up with The Jane Austen Society of North America
- October 25th - THE ART OF THE ADAPTATION - A Conversation with Dr. Bonnie Blackwell
- October 26th - ASL-Interpreted Performance
- October 29th - A Conversation with the Artists
- November 1st - A Conversation with the Artists
- November 3rd - THEIR SHARE OF AMUSEMENT - A Conversation about Misbehaving Women
- November 5th - A Conversation with the Artists

About Intersections
In the spirit of WaterTower Theatre's mission to build community through fostering empathy and dialogue, WaterTower announces its new community engagement programming, aptly titled Intersections, as this programming is constantly exploring where our artistic work intersects with our larger community.
Intersections has two primary objectives: The first is focused on providing all of our audience members a deeper look into the artistic work on our stages, offering more context while making our work even more relevant in the lives of our audience. The second is cultivating authentic artistic exchanges across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with the belief that the themes and human stories we put on our stages will resonate throughout the community.
About PRIDE AND PREJUDICE:
Calling all Jane Austen fans - and everyone else who loves a sparkling comedy about the entanglements of family, love, marriage, and money. Following the runaway success of her adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, playwright Kate Hamill returns to the immortal English writer with a fresh take on Austen's most famous novel. As the story of the Bennet daughters and their formidable social-ladder climbing mother unfolds, strong-willed Lizzie charts an independent course as she negotiates very mixed feelings about the aloof and seemingly snobbish Mr. Darcy. Hamill's imaginative and irreverent version of this literary classic makes Austen's deep insights into the foibles of human nature a theatrical treat you won't forget.
