The Firehouse Theatre Announces their 2018-2019 Season

This morning The Firehouse Theatre announced their 2018-2019 Season:

We open the season with FOREVER PLAID, a "deliciously fun revue that is chock-full of classic barbershop quartet harmonies and pitch-perfect melodies!"

Then hang on for the ever-popular GREASE, featuring the Pink Ladies, Sandy, Danny, and the Rydell High School Class of 1959 - guaranteed to entertain one and all!

LITTLE WOMEN "has been praised by critics for its ambition in adapting such a well-known story for the stage, offering a night filled with laughter, tears and a lifting of the spirit."

Next up, "regarded by many theatre professionals as the greatest musical ever created, GYPSY, is the ultimate tale of an ambitious stage mother fighting for her daughters' success...while secretly yearning for her own."

Our "big summer musical" is a favorite everyone will enjoy, THE MUSIC MAN, one we've been trying to get over the past 3 years, and we finally got it!

If you liked Billy Elliot: The Musical, written by Elton John and Tim Rice, then you'll be excited about Disney's AIDA, a modern crowd-pleaser featuring an epic tale of love, loyalty, and betrayal.

In the October/November slot, we are pleased to present OF MICE AND MEN. As the author John Steinbeck wrote in his 1938 journal, "In every bit of honest writing in the world there is a base theme. Try to understand men, if you understand each other you will be kind to each other. Knowing a man well never leads to hate and nearly always leads to love."
