MYO Youth Theatre presents the Elizabeth Swados musical RUNAWAYS May 31 and June 2 at 7:00 and a matinee at 2:00 on the 2nd.
Runaways takes an unflinching look at children who have run away or have been thrown away and how they survive on the streets. The show is based on true stories Swados collected in the 1970's, but the problems these kids face are as relevant as today's headlines.
The musical take a different form than most using monologues, poetry, rap, music and movement to tell the stories of these kids. It is moving, touching and horrifying at the same time. The cast of 26 includes students from all over Collin County.

The show will be held at the Church Street auditorium in McKinney.
