Auditions for Stuart Ross's Forever Plaid at Denton Community Theatre will be held September 13th at 5 pm at the Campus Theatre, located at 214 W. Hickory Street in downtown Denton. Stage Direction and Choreography by Robert Emery, Music Direction by Rick Buntain.

Auditions are open - no appointments. Please bring two contrasting songs in the style of an American Standard and/or a ‘50's Pop song (such as those in this show). Those asked to continue beyond the singing auditions should be prepared to return on Monday, Sept. 14th at 7:00 pm at the Campus Theatre for line readings and dance auditions.

1950's style clean-cut quartet "The Plaids" had their chance for stardom cut short when they died in a crash with a bus load of Catholic school girls. Fortunately, they are back from the afterlife with one last chance for musical greatness. This critically acclaimed musical is rich with great tunes like, "Three Coins in the Fountain", "Undecided", "Gotta Be This or That", "Moments to Remember", "Crazy 'Bout Ya, Baby", "Sixteen Tons", "Chain Gang", "Cry", "Heart and Soul", "Lady of Spain", "Shangri-La", "Rags to Riches", and "Love is a Many-Splendored Thing".

Performances are November 13, 14, 20, 21 at 7:30 pm & November 15, 22 at 2 pm.
