Denise Lee to Headline 3rd Annual Community Cast party at WaterTower Theatre

Community Cast Party Co-Chairs Stan Graner, Corky Pledger, Deborah Staggs and Maureen Anderson today announced details for the 3rdAnnual Community Cast Party. The party will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at WaterTower Theatre from 7 pm to 11 pm. The Community Cast Party, is designed to attract a wide audience of patrons who are interested in supporting WaterTower Theatre while enjoying an evening of entertainment with cuisine offered from many fine local restaurants. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to mix and mingle with many artists from the DFW theatre community at the "open house" style event, where everyone is welcome.

The entertainment will feature Denise Lee performing her one-woman show "Too Old, Too Fat, Too Black - Songs I'll Never Sing on Broadway." The evening will also include performances of Broadway-style music from Monique Abry, Whitney Coulter, Olivia De Guzman Emile, Alex Heika, and Kyle Montgomery, accompanied by Mark Mullino. In addition, the NY Goofs will present "Goofball Cabaret" - a hilarious performance from members of the DFW clowning community, and The Victims will be performing an evening of improv comedy.

Featured restaurants offering cuisine tastings include Carrabba's Italian Kitchen, The Egg and I Restaurant, Outback Steak House, BJ's Brewhouse, The Lazy Dog Restaurant, Mesero, Consuming Passion and more.

Tickets are $50 per person. Underwriting levels start at $250, $500, $1000 and $2500. A $25 per person ticket is available to "industry" members (artists of the DFW theatre community), and to patrons 35 and under. Tickets are on sale now. The Community Cast Party is a "fun"-raising event and all funds go to support WaterTower Theatre's artistic and education programs. A portion of the ticket is tax-deductible.
