Dallas Art Fair Announces 11th Edition The Dallas Art Fair is pleased to announce that its 11th edition will take place from April 11 through April 14, 2019 at the Fashion Industry Gallery (F.I.G.) in Downtown Dallas.

The 2019 edition of the Fair will continue to cultivate a vibrant, homegrown artistic landscape. Next spring, the Fair will further expand its initiatives to foster new conversations among the international art world, in turn enriching the local Dallas community.

Over the past decade, the Fair has tripled gallery participation and spectatorship, engaging with art enthusiasts throughout the United States, Italy, Germany, South Africa, Dubai, Japan, and elsewhere. The city of Dallas has proven to be a leading global force in creative communities, a growth which has led to the Fair's evolution. "The development of art fairs is at a crucial point and it is essential that we keep the conversation current so as to provide both growth and stability as well as a capacity for risk-taking," says Brandon Kennedy, Dallas Art Fair Co-Director.

In addition to its increased global reach, the Dallas Art Fair will continue to focus on locally-driven collaborations and educational programming, striving to expand opportunities for innovation. "Our ability to support the broader cultural life of Dallas is one of our greatest accomplishments. We are eager to create new platforms for emerging and established artists, encouraging all to think critically about the arts and the influential role it plays in our evolving society," says Kelly Cornell, Co-Director.

Dallas Art Fair Foundation Acquisition Program
The 11th edition of the fair will welcome the fourth annual Dallas Art Fair Foundation Acquisition Program. The 2018 program raised a generous donation of $150,000 with purchased works by Alicia Henry, Brie Ruais, Geraldo de Barros, Matthew Ronay, Sanford Biggers, Shara Hughes, and Tony Lewis. The Acquisition Program is an annual initiative designed to amplify the relationship between the Fair and the Dallas Museum of Art, all the while providing a space for the Fair to further invigorate and engage its collector nucleus.
