Brick Road Theatre is proud to produce The Light in the Piazza this October. This is only the second time the musical has been produced in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Written by Adam Guettel, the grandson of Richard Rodgers (one-half of Rodgers and Hammerstein), the show centers around a vacation love story and the challenges that come from it.

The Light in the Piazza will be performed on October 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 7:30 pm and October 23 & 30 at 2:30 pm at The Courtyard Theatre (1509 H Ave, Plano, TX 75074). Tickets are now available at www.brickroadtheatre.org and are priced at $22 for adults and $15 for students. The musical is set in 1950s Florence, Italy and features a live thirteen-piece orchestra.

Brick Road Theatre just celebrated its one-year anniversary and is delighted to produce The Light in the Piazza. Award winning Dallas-Fort Worth actress Janelle lutz (Clara Johnson) will be joined by Brick Road Theatre founder Noelle Chesney (Margaret Johnson) and Seth Womack (Fabrizio Naccarelli), as well as a strong ensemble cast and production team. The show's director, Wendy Welch, starred in the Dallas-Fort Worth premiere of The Light in the Piazza at Theatre 3 in 2007.
