By:

Amphibian Stage Productions (Kathleen Culebro, Artistic Director) will show a film of the National Theatre's production of As You Like It by William Shakespeare on Wednesday, March 16 at 2pm and 7pm in partnership with the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. This will be the third National Theatre Live screening of Amphibian's 2016 season.

Distributed internationally by BY Experience, National Theatre Live is an initiative to broadcast live performances from the National Theatre?s stages to cinemas worldwide. In Fort Worth, the screenings are presented exclusively at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, courtesy of Amphibian Stage Productions. Fort Worth screenings of National Theatre Live began in the fall of 2011.

Shakespeare's glorious comedy of love and change comes to the National Theatre for the first time in over 30 years, with Rosalie Craig (London Road, Macbeth at MIF) as Rosalind.

With her father the Duke banished and in exile, Rosalind and her cousin Celia leave their lives in the court behind them and journey into the Forest of Arden. There, released from convention, Rosalind experiences the liberating rush of transformation. Disguising herself as a boy, she embraces a different way of living and falls spectacularly in love.

As You Like It will screen on Wednesday, March 16 at 2pm and 7pm at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Tickets to National Theatre Live broadcasts are $20. Discounts are available for seniors, students, members of Amphibian Stage Productions and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and groups of 10 or more.

To purchase tickets, theatergoers may call 817-923-3012, write to boxoffice@amphibianstage.com, or visit www.amphibianstage.com. The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth is located at 3200 Darnell Street, Fort Worth, TX 71607.
