For its third appearance at Segerstrom Center, the acclaimed Szymanowski Quartet is joined by renowned pianist Joseph Kalichstein for Dvorák’s great Piano Quintet No. 2, acknowledged as one of the masterpieces of the repertoire. The ensemble also continues the exploration begun on their last visit of the work of Grazyna Bacewicz, who achieved rare international fame as a female Eastern European composer.
